Hmmm. You don't have to be lame to have a top five favourite bands/artists!
Sooo...
5 :: BREAKING BENJAMIN why? I first heard them when I went to a Nickelback concert, and I've been adicted ever since. My mom's friend let me borrow her CD's so now they are upon my iPod and rocking my socks. 4 :: KELLY CLARKSON why? This girl has got some pipes. KC is kinda my idol when it comed to vocals, so she makes her way onto my top lists XD. I just adore her music as well. It's very well thought out and sometimes a lot of fun to scream at the top of your lings while dancing around the room like an idiot. 3 :: THREE DAYS GRACE why? <3 for the love. This band is so amazing. Their newest album is probably my fave, considering the lack of swearing and how it's just soooooooooooooooo epic. 2 :: THE FRAY why? Have you heard this band? They're legit. No joke. So much for an explination. 1 :: LINKIN PARK why? because they're so amazingly epic that it's hard to not love them. TT_TT I would kill to go to one of their concerts. I'm currently addicted to the song "Iridescent" (played in Transformers 3 btw) which has made its way to the top of my top ten played songs in the time that I've had it on my iPod.

OOoh I like this
5. COLDPLAY :: It was the first concert I ever went to. I love their music and how it is cool without being innappropriate or anything. They are also totally good jam out songs or break up songs.
4. HANZ ZIMMER :: He is the composer who did all of the music for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I listen to his music all the time and fight invisible pirates. I have all the movie music and its pretty awesome. He's amazing.
3. AVRIL LAVIGNE :: She was the first singer, besides Brittney Spears, that I listend to when I was little. I used to sing along - very badly - to her original CD's when I was 8 and 9 and 10 and etc. I still have all of her older music.
2. THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS :: I got into them after watching John Tucker Must Die when I was 12. I love their music and went to see them at Bumbershoot. Katy Perry was the opener (: I have every single one of their songs, T-Shirts and can play their music on my piano. Adoration.
1. 30 SECONDS TO MARS :: I'm not even sure what to say. I heard King and Queens on a preview for the Guardians of Ga'Hoole movie and liked it, but forgot about it. My brother showed me the song and I became obsessed with it. Now I have all of their music and blast it in my car whenever I go anywhere. If you look at my characters, they all have lyrics on the biographies and theme songs from 30 Seconds to Mars. I listen to their music when I write too, for inspiration.

4. HANZ ZIMMER :: He is the composer who did all of the music for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I listen to his music all the time and fight invisible pirates. I have all the movie music and its pretty awesome. He's amazing. I love him XD Ok, here they are: 5. RODRIGO Y GABRIELA- These two are by far the best flamenco guitarists I have ever listened to. I first heard them in the On Stranger Tides soundtrack and fell in love instantly. All of their songs are amazing^^ 4. CHRISTINA PERRI- I heard her song Jar of Hearts on the radio one day and now have all of her other songs XD She has an amazing voice and can sing anything she puts her mind to. I especially like "Distance" and "Mine", from her Lovestrong album. 3. RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS- My Aunt first introduced them to me and I love their funky style. Anthony Kiedis + Michael "Flea" Balzary + Chad Smith + John Frusciante = AWESOME. I have over 60 of their songs and can't wait for the new album in August! "Make You Feel Better" and "If" are my two favorites. 2. MUMFORD & SONS- I first heard their song "The Cave" and have loved them ever since. Each track they have on iTunes is so powerful and energetic, each with a special meaning. I've learned to play most of their songs on guitar and can't wait for more music by them. "Little Lion Man" and "Dustbowl Dance" are some must-listen-to's^^ 1. THE CIVIL WARS- I can't remember when I first heard them, but they are my favorite duo. John Paul White and Joy Williams are perfect singers, plus JP's guitar style is amazing! They're an indie folk-type group with such a great acoustic sound, it puts all the autotuned crap of today to shame. You definitely should listen to "Poison and Wine", "Pressing Flowers", "Barton Hollow", and, well, all of their songs^^

5.)Coldplay- I very much enjoyed their more earlier stuff, and i love the style and how the music blends 4.)Clock Work Quartet- Amazing music and such talented voices and people. Their music is different and at times invokes the best emotions. 3.) Celtic Women- Again the blend of voices is amazing. And with my very varied array of music i could not help but stop and listen. amazing women if i do say so myself. 2.) Abeny Park- A steampunk band their work is so amazing i listened to one song and was hooked then and there. I don't know what to say about their awesome work. 1.) Emilie Autumn- Her work is art, with her own problems she channels her work into her art, she is so passionate and makes you feel the music. With gripping true stories that catch you and don't let you go.

1) Coldplay They're pretty much the only band on my i-pod, I absolutely love their music! As Palla said, they're cool without being inappropriate and.... yeah. They also are working on carbon neutral concerts, which is really cool in my opinion ^^. 2) Immediate Music Yeah! Those instrumentals in movies X). Link

5. Adele : I LOVE her voice! Her songs are pretty great too, the lyrics are very meaningful, and I'm sure a lot of people can relate to them.
4. Bruno Mars: His voice is great as well, something about his performance of "Valerie," at the VMA's made me fall in love with his music.
3. The Fray: As Karma stated, they're legit. ;D
2. Skillet: Fff<333
1. 30 Seconds to Mars: Their songs are great. They have just enough of the "hard rock" edge to make your head bang.

Mmmm.
1. Maroon 5. <333 I absolutely adore the lead vocalist's [Adam's <333] voice and looks, and their song lyrics have so much emotion put into it, while they're also so amusing to listen to. Also, I have noticed Adam is from the few people that sound the same in their Music Videos and Live Performances. I love this band's neatness. Favourite songs from them have to be #1 Misery, #2 She Will be Loved and #3 Harder to Breathe.
2. Coldplay! How we all love these guys! <33 I adoreee their style, they make such fantastic music of all kinds. When I first listened to Viva La Vida [the first song I've ever listened to of which the title is not anywhere in the song!] I instantly went like "I LOVE this band". Favourite songs from them, #1 Viva La Vida, #2 Clocks and #3 Paradise.
3. Avril Lavigne, yeaap! Probably the best solo musician out there, for me at least. I like the confidence and potent she puts in her music, obviously not giving a crap about what kind of impressions she makes. Although I also like the fact she doesn't cross the borders [like Rihanna for example .. ;-;] but can still be very badass singer. Love love love #1 Keep Holding On, #2 Smile and #3 Girlfriend.
4. Two Steps from Hell. :3 They rather make soundtracks instead of actual music with lyrics, but they're so epic at it. I'm in love with each and every one of their songs, they deserve so much more fame than they currently have.
5. P!nk/Taylor Swift, can't decide. *-* They're both so great. Both describe everyday situations that everybody goes through at some aspect of their life. I like how P!nk has similar style with Avril, although slightly more aggressive. At least in some of her songs. Taylor Swift is simply an awesome girl, her songs are so cute and the storylines behind them so alive. <3 Favourite P!nk songs; #1 Boring, #2 Perfect, #3 Walk Away. Taylor Swift, #1 Sparks Fly, #2 Speak now, #3 Mine. <3
